Newts are fascinating in that they are so sensitive to their surroundings, their very existence is an indicator as to whether an invironment is thriving or not. Even the smallest change in water quality or soil acidity can affect them badly. So she is the sensitive dragon. She is a dragon nonethless though and will guard her eggs (which she disguises as pearls) fiercely.
